Shipping & Returns Information
Orders received before 4:00 PM EST will be shipped same day. Orders received after 4:00 PM will ship the next business day. Orders placed on holidays or weekends will begin processing the next business day. All stock orders ship from our warehouse in Norcross, GA. You will be notified during the checkout process of any out of stock items and its expected receipt date. Unless specified otherwise during the checkout process, all orders will be shipped via FedEx. We gladly offer other shipping options at your request, including sending items on your own account. For 3rd party shipping, you must select 3rd party shipping and enter your account number during the checkout process.
All shipping costs are the recipient's sole responsibility. Shipping charges are calculated at time of shipment and are based on the weight and number of cartons being shipped. Unfortunately, we cannot provide exact freight costs until after your order has been processed and shipped. However, we happily provide freight estimates prior to shipment when requested. Please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives if you need a freight estimate prior to placing your order.

If you have back-ordered items in your cart at checkout, you will be given an option to ship all items complete (this may be cheaper but may also take longer) or ship items when they are available to ship (this may be faster but may also be more expensive). When you select to ship items as they are available, Alternative will ship all in-stock items immediately. Your back-order will not be shipped to you until all other items are available to ship. You will be able to see expected receipt dates for back-ordered items, but these dates are subject to change.
Shipping Address Options
Packages can be sent to the same address as your billing address or to another address for domestic orders. Either option may be selected during the checkout process.
We do offer shipping outside the United States for our internationally based customers. International orders may require additional processing time due to documentation requirements. Any duties and taxes incurred are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon receipt of the goods.
All international orders ship DHL Worldwide unless you'd like to ship on your account. Please select 3rd Party Shipping and the method of shipping during the checkout process. You will be asked to enter your account number when you choose the service type. Freight charges for 3rd party shipping will be billed directly to your account with FedEx or UPS.

Please note the following limitations:
- Items must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
- Your returns may be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
- Items that have been altered in any way cannot be accepted, including, but not limited to, washing, embroidery, re-labeling, screen-printing, dyeing, etc.
- Any items purchased under the Last Chance section are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- All sales are final on overstock items; returns are not accepted on overstock or closeout items under any circumstances.
- Alternative is not responsible for return shipping on any return.
Returning Items to Alternative
Contact a Customer Service Representative to request an RMA#. Please be sure to have the following Information:
- Your Alternative order number or PO#
- The style numbers for the items you wish to return.
- A color, size, and quantity breakdown of each style you would like to return.
Please Note: Returns will not be accepted without an RMA.

Please write the RMA# on the packing list enclosed with your order as well as on the box. If the original box is not available, you can use any plain, unmarked cardboard box.
If there are any shipping labels, bar-codes, or stickers on the corrugated box from previous shipments, please remove them at this time.

You will receive a credit posted to your credit card or account once it is received and checked in by our warehouse. Please allow 7 to 10 business days to receive your credit.
